Come Play in Haslet
Our Sports
Baseball Program
HSA has made every effort to build a Baseball Program that will attract as many players as possible, from within Haslet and the surrounding communities that have a true love for the game of baseball.
In an effort to attract those players, we currently offer opportunities from 3 years of age all the way through 14 years old. It is our goal to give every child the opportunity to excel at any age level. With the help of our volunteer coaches, we strive to teach baseball fundamentals in an environment that is both challenging and rewarding. As players advance in age, we still hold to that same philosophy, giving players of all skills an opportunity to learn and enjoy the game. As players advance in their skills and talent, they will be awarded additional opportunities.
HSA plays under the USSSA Baseball governing body. As such, this will field All-Star teams during the spring season at each age group that have the opportunity to compete in tournaments at the district, regional, state, and national levels. Thanks to the help of our dedicated coaches, HSA has had All-Star teams compete and win at almost every level and have represented Haslet very well in the past seasons.

Softball Program
Over the past few years, the Haslet Sports Association has seen continued growth and involvement at all age levels. The recreational Softball Program is no exception and gives girls in the area the opportunity to compete both locally and with other girls in the region. HSA’s Softball Program has been built upon the following guiding principles:
- To help our youth develop into better adults through participation in organized sports.
- To foster an atmosphere focused on FUN, sportsmanship, teamwork, and trust
- To guide and assist our participants to gain the necessary skills, confidence and discipline to become positive, healthy citizens and role models of the future.
Recreational and Inclusive
The HSA recreational Softball Program is designed to attract as many players in the community as possible, who have a sincere interest in the game. In our younger leagues, we attempt to include every single player who registers to play. Our goal is to give the youngest players in our program an opportunity to gain a fondness for and an interest in the game.
We also strive to give them every chance to learn the basic skills the game requires. As our recreational players advance in age, we still provide an “all-inclusive” approach to participation. The privilege of increased participation is earned through the attainment of performance levels by conscientious attendance at games and practice sessions, as well as general conduct and development on the playing field.
Adult Softball Program
Our Softball Program offers an excellent recreational opportunity for the adults of the City of Haslet ranging from ages 18 years and older. The emphasis is placed on healthful competition in a recreational atmosphere. Our leagues are organized, conducted, and administered by a professional staff with expertise in league formation and equal competition. All this and more is done in an effort to offer the best recreational experience possible as well as to serve as a fundraiser for the youth programs of Haslet Sports Association.
**PLEASE NOTE** The Co-Ed Adult Softball Program registers teams not individuals. If you are an individual looking to join a team, please email the Adult Softball Commissioner your name and phone number. This information will be compiled and given to teams as an available player list.
Haslet Sports Association looks forward to meeting your recreational needs and to another great softball season!
